Apply Yourself

Designed and programmed a web application for students to freely and easily view and compare college information.

In the summer of 2019, I participated in the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program. For our final project, my team and I designed and programmed the web application Apply Yourself, a free and easy-to-use application intended to make the college application process more accessible to all. With a tech stack of pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, this was one of my first major coding projects, and my skills have only improved since.

• Designed and programmed a web application resource for incoming college students using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, collaborating with team members to combine and assemble code.
• Integrated the College Scorecard API to retrieve the most current and accurate data.
• Utilized JavaScript to implement an autocomplete search function, visual representations of user input, and more.
